About Penn Park
Located at 100 W College Ave, York, PA 17401, Penn Park operates as a park serving York in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as tourist attraction, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
This group covers the athletic clubs, gyms, recreation and community centers, sports complexes, parks and golf clubs that keep tennis courts alongside their main business. City recreation centers and YMCAs offer the lowest prices, with day passes and resident discounts, and their courts are usually open to anyone. Athletic and health clubs bundle courts with a gym, pool and group fitness for a monthly membership. Parks departments run the public courts, permits, lights and lesson programs in most towns, and their office is the place to report a broken net or a locked gate. Golf clubs often keep a few courts for members and their guests.

York is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Penn park is one of the go to spots for basketball players and playing ball. They have upgraded the playground and added some other things. Love when they have special events there at PENN PARK.

This was a nice park to walk at, and the view of the city was beautiful! There were benches to sit at, along with a large splash pad zone, two playgrounds, swing sets, a pavilion, basketball courts, tennis courts, etc.! Iβm not sure if there is a bathroom here. The only issue I noticed was there was a lot of trash lying around, and there was only about one trash can throughout the park. There was also dog poop in the grass and there wasnβt any dog waste bags.

I loved seeing a lot of members of the community out playing basketball, soccer, and just being outside. However, 3 kids on dirt bikes were biking around, doing wheelies and donuts in the grass. It was dope to see the wheelies but then 4 cop cars showed up and there was a lot of commotion going on. They started talking to everyone playing basketball. It was just weird. Still walked through the park and had a nice time though.
